DOC Peel Forest Camping Ground

This is a Department of Conservation, serviced, family-friendly camp ground located within the Peel Forest Park
Scenic Reserve, a remnant of ancient podocarp forest that once covered the Canterbury Plains.

It is ideally sited for outdoor activities in the Rangitata valley. The camp is environmentally friendly with
solar water-heating and a rubbish-recycling system.
