The Record Keeper is an independent vinyl record store where you can enjoy a good coffee while listening to your favourite music.
Stephen and Katrina welcome you to relive the past of browsing or digging in record stores while helping to create a more sustainable future.

Sustainability is at the forefront of what they want to do. They are using solar power in new storage heaters, to spin the vinyl and to make your coffee.

Stephen and Katrina have restored one of Geraldine’s oldest shops which first opened in 1890. Now it will be the home of classic albums from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s as well as new releases from local Kiwi artists.
