Waihi Lodge Care Centre is a community owned, 'not for profit' facility run by Seniorcare Geraldine Inc. It is certified with the Ministry of Health to provide residential care at rest home level to the people of Geraldine and surrounds and a number of cottages on site provide rental accommodation suitable for elderly people.

Our mission is to provide 'eldercare excellence at all times' for up to 20 residents in a small, homely facility located in the heart of the village. In addition to long term care, we can accommodate short term respite using carer support and provide private Day Care.

As part of our commitment to the elderly of Geraldine, an outreach service provides support to people in their homes- a meals on wheels service delivers fresh, hot meals straight from the rest home kitchen and a team of volunteers provide social support and companionship with events such as outings, regular coffee mornings and exercise classes.
